MyonMyon is the German spelling of the elementary particle muon. Quoting Wikipedia:
In the Standard Model of particle physics, a muon is a semistable fundamental particle with negative electric charge and a spin of 1/2. Together with the electron, the tauon and the neutrinos, it is classified as part of the lepton family of fermions. Like all fundamental particles, the muon has an antimatter partner of opposite charge but equal mass and spin: the antimuon. When writing some IRC bots, I needed a class of nicknames to choose from, and since I like physics, picked elementary particles (there are *lots* of them). Myon then became my irc nick in late 2000 (I had used cb before).
Myon is more or less pronounced like this.
